Description

99% all original one prior owner solid body, no damage, engine runs great 66k miles. This is one of 452 manufactured in 1948. Original top? has the original boot and has the cover that fastens to the front seat which completely covers the rear seat and folded down top. Tonnue cover? Hydraulic windows & top work great. This is a V12 with 3 speed overdrive that works. It has a new radiator, hoses, brakes, muffler. Believe everything else is original. the clock even works.
according to the original owner, it had a paint job (original color) quite a while ago but that's it. Has chips on the paint, chrome is good, interior leather is really pretty good. Visors, door panels, all good with the front seat and rear seat leather torn due to age but springs and padding fine.
The items that are not perfect- the power vacuum antenna does not work, radio does not work, first gear has a "clicking" noise when accelerating and sometime pops out of gear on hard acceleration but shifts fine both up and down, very good weather stripping and glass, tight body and suspension with no rattles and smooth ride.
For an added price, I have many spare parts including a complete V12 engine purchased from an old Ford dealership that is really nice as well as a complete new set of chrome for the body... bumpers, grille, bezels, badging etc.which I can sell with or without the car and also have a couple of radios and other items..We can discuss pricing if anyone is interested. Will also list these items separately and locally
