Description

Up for auction is our 1941 Lincoln Continental V12 Coupe. Purchased inAugust 2001 from old time Lincoln enthusiastin Washington, Iowa, whodid a complete restoration during the mid 1980's. The Lincoln Continentalhas been a favorite in our small classic car collection and has traveled only 73,387 miles since new back in 1941. The powerful V12 engine was rebuilt by the pervious ownerand runs with no major issues. She has a slight lifter tick at idle, but maintains good oil pressure when at operating temperature. Yes, like most vehicles of that era she smokes a little. No signs of body rot or rusted out panels. The body has minor dents and dings and the Black paints looks very presentable. The clutch is still good and there is no slipping and transmission shifts correctly with no grinding. The overdrive solenoid has "bought the farm" and needs too be replaced. Brakes are fully functional, but a rebuild may be in order if one is planning on doing a lot of touring. The windshield wiper vacuum unit seals are leaking.

For slightlyless than a$18,000.00 econo box you can own a Classic 1941 Lincoln Continental V12 Coupe.
