Description

Beautiful Dark Brown Iridescent '75 Mark IV, miles are believed to be original, car runs excellent, no smoke or noises, shifts good, drives and rides great, four new white wall tires, 5 original aluminum wheels (these are not hub caps) are in very good shape, power windows work, door locks attempt to move but not working, headlight doors work but loose vacuum after the car sits for a bit, probably dried vacuum lines. Air Conditioning is not working but it's all there, gauges work, Cartier clock works, original FM stereo with 8 track works great, (did not have an 8 track to try the tape player), 4 wheel disc brakes work excellent although for some reason the "brake" light is on on the dash. I do not see a reason for it to be on. The car has a bad power steering leak, and I have not figured out where it's coming from. It's near the box itself, most likely a hose, but I haven't the time, so I am leaving it up to the new owner to finish the few things this car needs. Paint shines but has primer spots here and there, the vinyl top was brown too, and in horrible shape from the Florida sun, so it's been all stripped and the roof has been sanded and smoothed, ready for a new vinyl top installation. I do have the two chrome rings for the opera windows, the rear part of the trim is missing. The interior is very good, dash pad has no cracks but it is faded a bit. Rear seat has one rip in the leather, (see pic). Passenger side front seat has some split seams in the leather, and driver's seat has some general wear, as well as one missing button. Rug still looks new, door panels are excellent, and headliner is nice but has one split seam that may be able to be sewed back together. Car is extremely clean underneath, never been up north or by the ocean. As you can understand, it's a project, but a driveable one, thus the low opening bid with NO RESERVE! Car can be looked at, and picked up in Ocala, Florida, 34470.
