1962 Lincoln Continental 44,000 1 owner Original Miles
Description
Selling my beloved 1962 Lincoln Continental. Desert Frost color (rare) with matching interior. Interior is in excellent shape with all the original wood trim still in tact and looking excellent. 430ci motor that has had the valve seats replaced with hardened ones for the modern unleaded fuel. Transmission tail shaft bearings have been replaced with new ones ($250 each and it takes 2) and it shifts like a new car. Car has a laser straight body with no dings or dents. I have a small pint of the original color if it ever gets scratched. Chrome is in good shape but could be rechromed for a perfect "10" car - its the only real flaw. Disc brake conversion has been done to the front (i have the original drums that were removed) and a 1" dropped front springs from Eaton were custom made for the car. The rear suspension is original and unmodified. 20" 144 spoke wheels are on the car and i have the original hubcaps but no 15" steel wheels (easily aquired). Car has a small stereo in it - Could all be removed with no evidence it was ever there. I have all the original pieces that were removed for its installation. I had acquired a new rear package tray to cut holes for the speakers so the original one stayed in tact and unmodified. This is a non-ac car bought from the original owner out of new jersey. Car was only driven on nice days and has stayed in climate controlled garage its whole life. A vintage air unit could be easily added. Car really need to be seen in person to appreciate it. I am only selling as i dont have time to drive the car and it really needs to go to a good home. PayPal is Mike@RevolutionSpeed.com
