Description:Here we have this 1964 Lincoln Continental convertible that is powered by a 430CI V8 with an automatic transmission. For 1964, Lincoln gave the Continental a minor redesign, featuring several updates to further improve interior room. The wheelbase was extended three inches, both to improve rear-seat room and to improve the ride. The rear-mounted gas tank filler door was moved to the driver’s side of the car. The front grille was modified slightly from the 1963 model, it now featured a series of five vertical chrome accents that interrupted the square “eggcrate” pattern and were distributed evenly between the dual headlights. The exterior “Continental” script was changed and the rear grille replaced by a simple horizontally elongated Continental star on the rear deck lid. All minor touches that made an overall big improvement on the Continental.

Interior: The interior of the Continental is original, all of the vacuum operated door locks work, as well as the power seats, power windows, and full power convertible top. All of the instruments are in working order as well. The top does not leak and all of the hydraulic components work perfectly as well. The dashboard, floors, and convertible top are in great condition and the radio works also.

Exterior: The Lincolnis finished in a gloss whitewith plenty of chrome trim. The bumpers and trim are in great shape and the car has brand new white wall tires that really give the car a classy look. The Continental looks great with the top up or down, you can tell that a lot of thought went into the design of this car. The suicide doors give the Lincoln that wow factor that no other car has. This car is the true definition of “landyacht”, it is large enough to comfortably seat 6 passengers, has plenty of trunk space, and with enough room to store it’s massive roof. It is a fun car to drive that turns heads everywhere.

Drivetrain: This behemoth is powered by a 430 CI V8 that is paired to a buttery smooth automatic transmission. The engine runs very quiet and does not leak or smoke at all.
