1979 Lincoln Continental Convertible
Description
The Lincoln is a Silco conversion. It is a very original driver quality car with 34,700 miles. The paint appears mostly original and the chrome is in good condition. The interior is also in good condition, with some fading on the leather seats and carpets likely due to it's being a convertible The top is new, is lined to make the car quieter with the top up, and the custom made top boot is new as well. The air conditioning is cold, the power windows, seats, and locks all work, the cruise control works, even the clock works. The car rides on the highway very smoothly, with no vibrations at speed. It is exceptionally tight for a convertible. The tires are nearly new and well balanced. It runs generally well, save for an intermittent miss at idle we haven't been able to track down yet; it may be due to the car not having been used for a long time as it improves with driving. It has a replacement Bluetooth stereo system which was installed carefully with no cutting of the dash and it is hooked to new speakers behind the original correct speaker grills. The car is very clean underneath, consistent with a low mileage vehicle driven in the South.
