1993 Lincoln Mark VIII 4.6L V8 runs strong, needs a/c, fun car w/ upgrades
Description
1993 Lincoln Mark VIII, 4.6L, V8, rear wheel drive. I bought this in 1998 with 80,000. It's been my daily driver ever since. It now has 248,000 miles and the engine is strong. It's actually pretty fast. I put a performance computer chip in it, under drive pulleys, TRUE dual exhaust system from manifolds back inc. high flow cats. No a/c (worked last year, but I decided to sell it and not fix it). It has a nail in one back tire, but they are all like new, so they had a few burnouts left in them (car was not at all abused, just used. It will smoke the tires if desired). I have 2 brand new unmounted tires I just bought that I will throw in with the car. Has nice working Kenwood stereo, but 1 of the driver's side tweeters is out (wiring), but can be fixed. The driver's side door handle is broke, but still opens the door. The paint is half gone, so I was going to put door poppers on it when I re-painted it. Has oil leaks, but I only have to fill it about a quart just before the next oil change usually in spring and fall. Newer altenator, water pump, etc... The transmission was rebuilt a few years ago with the upgraded plates "bullet proff" they call it. There's no lag between gears, especially with the added chip, it will sometimes chirp 2nd gear. It's a fun car to drive.
