1947 Lincoln 2 door Coupe that is road ready and in near perfect condition. This Lincoln's powertrain has been upgraded to a V8 Ford 352 Police Interceptor engine coupled to a freshly rebuilt C6 transmission. Driveshaft is custom fitted to an early Ford F-150 rear end. Tires are brand new Bias-Ply White Walls with matching spare. 4 core radiator with an additional electric fan that can be manual or automatic selected, Never had any overheating issues even in 100 degree weather! Heaters are under each seat and appear to be in working condition. Single 4 BBL Motorcraft carburetor that runs perfect. Distributor has been converted to electronic ignition and runs perfect. Paint job is fresh and in near mint condition. All interior is in near perfect condition. Front undercarriage is detailed and painted along with clear coat finish. Front end is original. Car cruises on the highway at 60 mph perfectly. Doors close like a new car. New fender welting installed. 1947 California legacy plates included and legally registered.
The negatives: Steering gear could use a freshening up (spring shackles, bushings, tighten steering box adjustment, Etc.) Drivers door sill plate missing. Door lock mechanisms need connecting but keys seem to work in all locks. Clock is there but does not operate. Radio is there but does not operate. Carpet could use a cleaning.
