1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible - PRIVATE OWNER SELLING FOR NO RESERVE - BID TO WIN - BUT ONLY BID IF YOU INTEND TO BUY - Drop-dead gorgeous head-turner. My wife and I purchased this dream car "Shelly" about 4 years ago. She has given us a tremendous amount of joy including a starring role in our wedding. Finished in breathtaking "Dusty Rose", (a 1963 only color that was custom ordered for the car by the original owner) this car draws attention everywhere we go. Shelly was restored at some point to a high quality. The paint is magnificent with no waves or blemishes other than a couple of chips on the rear deck behind the seats where the top fell while it was being repaired. Interior is also Dusty Rose Vinyl. The white top is literally "as new". Shelly is equipped with a 430 V8 and runs strong. We drove her from Florida to Newport, RI without any issues. The car has been maintained by Lincoln Land in Clearwater which is arguably the nation's most well known and reputable shop specializing in servicing vintage Lincolns. Serious parties may contact them for reference. The owner of Lincoln Land recently commented that this was one of the nicest 64's he'd seen in a very long time. Over the past few years we've addressed any issue that popped up including new window motors, new fuel pump, new correct tires, etc., etc., etc.. I have several thousand dollars in receipts since Shelly has been in our custody. This is truly special car. In my opinion the 1964 is the best year for this car. The body is a bit longer and more roomy than the 61-63 but maintains the elegant front-end design which was ruined in 65. I am a car nut and have owned over 50 cars including several vintage Lincolns and Cadillacs as well as modern era Bentleys and Rolls Royces. I can honestly say no other car I've owned has generated as many compliments, dropped jaws and thumbs up as this car has.
