Description

1990 Lincoln Towncar

This 1990 Lincoln Towncar was driven by my wife who purchased it from the Ford-Lincoln dealership in Lighthouse Point FL with 22,000 original miles on it in or around 1991. She is meticulous about caring for her vehicles and oil changes were done every 4,000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic oil and filters.

Never in an accident, always garaged when in active use. Stored inside a metal building on our farm for the past decade. To get her back into service, we replaced the fuel pump, gas tank, sending unit and recharged the A/C freon. The engine starts easily and the car drives smoothly. The body is in outstanding shape. A/C is cold. The original interior leather is clean with no tears or rips but has normal age-related cracking. Carpet needs cleaning but is in good condition. Headliner has two approximate 1-inch 'V' cuts above front bench seat. Stereo good. Front two power windows run but need manual assist to open/close. Some dashboard lights flicker intermittently and a few LED segments are out. The odometer displays miles but the km/miles toggle always reads km. The photos were taken on the day that this car was pulled out of the barn so the air suspension looks low in the pictures but the vehicle immediately rose back to its normal stature once we restarted the car. Tires and brakes are good but old, so should be replaced for your safety.

A nice car for its age and a great for a restoration/collection project. Need more info? Please contact me before you bid.
