PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION
This car is worth restoring, or making into a great custom cruiser which is probably the best bet given the lack of parts. It’s not too far gone to bring back but would need a talented person with a lot of time, or someone with deep pockets. It really would be worth it in the end
I have taken a lot of pictures to give a clear understanding of the cars condition. That being said feel free to message me if you have any questions or would like to discuss it in more detail. I have way more pictures available that I could not fit in the listing. I want to make sure the buyer has a clear understanding of the cars condition.
What you see is what I have for the car. It has no engine, or transmission and is missing all of the suspension / running gear. I do however have a set of 1937 Lincoln Zephyr front and rear end that I will include with the sale (not pictured). It will have the wrong brakes and will need to be shortened since it was from a sedan, but it would help in making the car a roller. It also does not have the front fenders or bumpers.
It does still some of the floors, enough for a template. The “frame” (unibody design) is actually pretty solid, with only a small area of rust through. There is still some wooden support structure in the car. It has door and window handles, sun visors and seat frame both still move! Upper dash structure, what’s left of the banjo wheel and dome light. The hood is actually in pretty decent shape too. The parts set on the ground include: gas pedal, front cross member, trans. tunnel, rear wooden parcel tray, door window surround, and some running board sections.
Rust – Obviously most of the lower section of the car is the worst, running board area is completely gone, bottom of cowl, front floor pan is basically gone, and the body in front of the rear fenders. The pass side rear fender mounting flange is also rusted.
Dents – The driver’s door has a dent right below the body line that covers just about the entire thing. The roof also has a major dent that just missed the rear window area. The drivers a pillar has one as the rear fenders also show some smaller ones.
I will also include the sale a clear 1941 Lincoln Coupe title it is not sold with a 1939 title, there is no spot on EBay to put “none” for title under vehicles.
I do have a wooden sled/pallet large enough to set the entire car on for transport, not the logs it is currently sitting on. As well as a forklift capable of loading it.
Conditions of Sale: Local Pickup Only, no shipping, no transport companies. Sold as is. $1,000 deposit due within 48 hours of the close of the auction.
