Description

A 2-owner very original Southern car, this Lincoln is in extremely nice condition with a documented 80,500 +/- miles. Cruise effortlessly at highway speeds; it rides, shifts (C-6 transmission), and, with the standard 4-wheel disc brakes, stops like new. There are less than 2,000 miles on the tires, brakes, and starter. The exhaust, radiator, and gas tank have also been replaced. There are no leaks or mechanical issues. The air conditioning has been converted to R134 and it blows cold. Everything works but the trip odometer (odometer works fine), front speakers, and clock. I will include a hard to find OEM clock with the sale. The spare tire is original.
For a base model, this car is highly optioned with the 460 V-8, dual exhaust, turbine wheels, leather interior, cruise control, tilt wheel, power vent windows, illuminated entry, outside thermometer, automatic climate control, AM/FM stereo with Quadrasonic 8 track (I have not tested the 8 track), power antenna, cornering lamps, automatic headlights and bright lights dimmer, 6 way power driver and passenger seats with passenger recline, interval wipers, door edge guards, 2 license tag frames (original and very rare), and floor mats (also original and very rare).
Original MSRP was over $14,000, very expensive for its time!
I have much documentation including the original bill of sale, registration, delivery papers, owners manual, and warranty card as well as a copy of the original title. Also included are two sets of original keys.
Not a show car but a very nice, well sorted, reliable driver. There are a few door dings on the side trim. The car received a non-show quality paint job in the correct original color in the past. While it shows some imperfections, the paint is very presentable and the body is straight. The right door was replaced at some point. Undercarriage, engine compartment, and trunk are not detailed but are very clean with the factory stampings and chalk marks still in place. All of the original trunk trim is in place. There are no significant rust issues. The top shows very minor wear (stitching) but is still very nice.
Inspections are welcome. Please contact me with any and all questions. Let's talk!
