Description

1969 LINCOLN MARK III

A great and hard find, this was an one owner NEVADA car, so the body still is solid for his age, with just some common rust spots here and there, but its absolutely very straight, has all original metal, and still wears his original paint, as it never was refurbished or bodyworked around! But it will need a little bit of work now.

The odometer reads 23.700 miles, which I do believe are original miles, because the prior owner told me that, and by the impression about the interior, engine bay, andthe whole carconditions, even I can not guarantee that !

The leather interior is in very good conditions, no rips or tears, just is dirty, and needs a good clean job. Even the original headliner does haves the head console. Dashpad is good too. The car needs a good TLC job.

The white wall tires set does have over 85% tread remaining.

Just like all desert cars, the vinyl top is gone by the sun through the years, and was removed by the prior owner before I bough it. So it will need to have the vinyl top replaced.

All the top and rear window stainless trims are complet and intact, and they are inside the trunk, even the top emblems from both sides.

As very common at these cars, the corners from the rear glass - under the factory vinyl top -does show some rust spots which will need to be fixed., before you go to install a new vinyl top. The trunk lid lower portion begin to show some rust bubbles too. Floors are good, and the car is solid overall. And for last, the drivers side turn signal lense is broken. Thats all! For an 47 year low milleage car, this is almost nothing!

Engine and transmission are smooth and powerfull. Suspension floats like a air ride, as the usual Lincoln tradition. Also it came from factory loaded with all luxury power options: A/C, cruise control, power windows, power seats, power locks, power steering, etc...

Just needs a new battery now because the time that its sitting (around 3 years now). But whit a charged battery and some fuel drops into the carburator, it starts right up. But to drive it again I guess it should have the gas tank cleaned and brakes reviewed.

I just need to release the storage, so its time to let it go.

It does haves a clear title.

These cars from the early seventies become to be rare findsnowadays, especially in factory untouched conditions like this.

Would like to see it go to the right hands, who can bring it back to his shinny days, that I feel it does have more good reliable 40 years remaining on it!
