LOTS OF PICTURES, JUST SCROLL DOWN!!!!
For sale is my 1966 Lincoln Continental Suicide 4 Door Sedan 462 V8 Restoration Project that Needs to be Finished - I'd finish it, but I'm out of time and can't finish.
This car runs and drives good for its age. The engine I THINK was rebuilt at one time, but still needs to be serviced and tuned up, carb needs adjustments, etc. Transmission shifts well, power steering is good, the front end is a little sloppy and needs to be rebuilt. The A/C looks pretty complete, but the compressor is "seized", have that rebuilt for under $300.00. Needs a whole new exhaust system done as this one is all split up. Breaks will need to be bled because the pedal is low and had no brake fluid in it.
The interior needs a complete restoration on it, missing a few trim pieces, arm rests, windows crank handles, inner door handles, window switches, etc (see pics). Headliner is ripped in a few places, but complete. Carpet is missing ***(JUST ORDERED NEW CARPET KIT 9/19/16)***, so that needs to be installed, and a few MINOR trim pieces are missing in the interior. The door panels are there, and MIGHT be usable to restore. Seats needs complete upholstery. Top dash pad has a crack, front dash looks great with minor wear & tear, has original radio that has a 8-track player in it, speedo works, dash lights work except the temperature control lights, seat belts look original (has 10-66 date FoMoCo),
I don't see ANY major rust or rot on this car, only a small area by the front windshield pillar (see pic). The front windshield needs to be replaced because it is cracked, and a few MINOR chrome pieces around the front windshield is missing, antenna is gone/broken. All the chrome looks REALLY good and pretty straight, all hub caps are there and has minor scratches/dents, all the lights look in good shape, and seem to work. The outside hood has two yellow "burn" marks on it because looks like it had a backfire/fire under it, but I don't see ANY wires or fire damage. ALL glass besides the front windshield is in good shape. Hood is missing the Lincoln emblem.
Tires are fairly new, and still have tons of tread on them (roadclaw P235/75R15 R220). Body is REALLY straight and only have a few minor dents, scratches, scuffs. The paint job is a cheap one (other owner had it done), so I'd repaint it with a better one.

These cars values are going up, and hard to find in good shape like this one. So PLEASE NOT looking for low ball offers. Thank you!
