Description

1969 Lincoln Continental 4dr Sedan.Nice original 2 owner survivor Just out of 28 years of inside storage.Exterior is nice in its original Dark Ivy Green with one repaint many years ago. Still presentable but showing wear. The dog legs in front of the rear tires were repaired by the elderly owner some time ago and the right front fender shows evidence of a minor dent repair. Very little repairs would be needed for a repaint, minor surface rust shown on right corner of trunk lid. The vinyl top is very dry and cracking, will need replaced.InteriorThe upholstery in Saddle shows the gentle use of the elderly owner with only a couple spots of concern. The drivers seat bottom has a small puncture and the center of the dash pad is cracked from age.Overall the interior is in excellent conditionThe carpet is very impressive for its age the seats are solid and firm, the headliner and door panels are like new.All the power accessories are working at this time including all windows. (master window switch is a little quirky operating the passenger window)Engine bay and trunkThe engine bay is in excellent shape and clean with only the washer jug showing its age.The trunk is still dressed in its original mats and side panels with the original jack and accessories still in place.
Running conditionThe car runs and drives as it should with many new items including rebuilt OE carb, flushed fuel lines new fuel pump and the fuel tank has been cleaned and sealed. The fuel guage does not register and a new fuel sending unit will be needed. Also new is points plugs cap and rotor. The brakes have been rebuilt including new pads calipers master cylinder and wheel cylinders, front wheel bearings serviced. The car also has new tires wiperblades and fresh oil change and battery. With all said this 48 year survivor is ready for use or your restoration to what ever extent you chooseThe car is for sale locally and a buy it now offer may be considered. Trades will also be considered. If you have any other questions feel free to text or call Tim Koontz at 304-389-1578. More pictures are also available. Possible Delivery also could be arranged.
