This 1971 Lotus Super Seven is a Series IV mint example. The car starts, runs and drives well.Power comes from a 1.6L "big valve" inline-four equipped with twin Dellorto DHLA 40E carburetors. The engine was reportedly rebuilt in 1993 at approximately 26k km and sends power through a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine sounds great, and transmission shifts well. All fluids are up to date. All electrical parts and gauges work.Smiths gauges are mounted in the dash and center stack.Approximately30k kilometers (~18k miles) are indicated on the 5-digit odometersuspension and brakes are great.
Originally finished in yellow, the bodywork was refinished in red gel coat. I fixed a few cracks and flows from previous owenrship and not it is perfect. The paint job is high quality and is excellent.Split-spoke 13″ wheels are fitted with Cooper Trendsetter SE tires in great shape. The interior is in great shape and features black bucket seats along with a 3-spoke steering wheel and wooden shift knob. The driver's seat fabric has begun to split along the outer bolster. Clean NJ title.
The car is sold AS IS. No warranty
