Description

Absolutely stunning and cool little 87 Maserati Biturbo Spyder Zagato. This car is fully loaded from its cd player and Blaupunkt speakers to the leather interior. It is 100% original and untouched with just over 45,000 miles. I purchased this car with the intent of getting it back on the road but I am no longer able.
Motor: The motor is NON RUNNING. I am unsure what is wrong with it. I can tell you through some basic diagnostics that the car has good spark and fuel pressure but for some reason it will not start. Timing issue? Electrical gremlin? under the hood I do know some relays have been replaced and that the air cleaner housing needs more straps to close it all the way as the originals have degraded. The battery was bought this summer but needs charged. The car cranks over just fine it simply will not start.
The body: The body is in very good condition and has very few small dings. It does have an area of rust on the front cowling as pictured. Other than that there is zero rust. The floors are 100% solid as is the rest of the car. The trunk pan is great without issue too!
Interior: The interior is in great condition and the seats have no rips or tears. The dash clock is missing. The dash has no cracks on the top and the cd player powers on and I assume it works though I haven't tested it.
Electronics: The dash lights do not work nor do the headlights due to some electrical gremlins. It could be as simple as a fuse. I have not investigated it. Everything is present and I see no wiring issues (breaks or hacks or any of that).
The top: The top will need replaced. The window is split in half and the top has holes in it. They were crudely patched with tape and the car has been covered up for the last year. The door seals will probably need replaced eventually too just because that was my plan.
:Tires: They are on original rims and are shot.
I literally bought the car the way it sits and have done nothing other than a basic trouble shooting and then life got in the way. It comes with the original manuals and even two really thick blue repair books! They tell you 99% of the information you need to know about doing things on the car.
As far as shipping goes I will help out any way I can however you will need to make the calls. What ever you get arranged in regards to that I will do what I can to help make things go as smoothly as possible. The title is clear and in my name. No liens or anything like that. In regards to shipping I can tell you that Schumacher Transport in California says the price to get this on a container and to France is $1000.
The car is described via my own words and photos as best as I can explain things. I by no means am an auto expert. I will try to answer any questions you may have about the car if I am able. I can tell you for sure that NO I WILL NOT SELL PARTS OR DISMANTLE ANYTHING OFF OF THIS CAR. IT IS COMPLETE AND 100% ORIGINAL AND IT WILL REMAIN THAT WAY UNTIL IT GETS A NEW HOME.
Thanks for looking and more importantly a future thanks to its potential new owner in regards to getting this classic back on the road!
