1982 Maserati Quattroporte 4Porte

Description

This 1982 Maserati Quattroporte sold new on 2/17/1982 to its first owner Black Mountain Investments in San Diego for $60,000.00 plus tax and license. The car was than subsequently sold to Dr. Bernstein of Tucson, Arizona on 3/2/1990 having 15,868 miles on the odometer. Dr. Bernstein kept the car until 9/8/2016 when I purchased the vehicle. The car has currently 55,792 miles on the odometer.

When I purchased the vehicle it was not running. The following work was performed to get the car were it is today: Remove the gas tank and have it professional cleaned. Replace both fuel pumps and all fuel filters. Replace various old fuel fines. Rebuild carburetors and replace spark plugs. Install new plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Replace all drive belts. Replace all coolant hoses in the engine compartment and flush cooling system. Perform oil service incl. new oil Filter. I removed the intake and had it resealed. Installed new Interstate Battery. I further replaced the power window switches and flushed the brake system.

The vehicle starts, drives and shifts as required. The brakes work and most of the lights. The windows go up and down but they are slow. The majority of the work is down to make the car a nice driver. The suspension creaks and there are many small things that need to be done but I have too many projects as of now.
