For sale is a fantastic 1991 Mazda Miata in “true red” with only 12k original miles. I purchased the car earlier this year from the original owner, but no longer have room for it. This car looks and drives every bit as well as you would expect for a car of this mileage. This Miata has been garage-kept since new, has never been driven in snow, and has very rarely seen rain. The original soft top is in place and is in excellent condition. Vinyl is still supple and the rear window is clear. All interior surfaces are in exceptional conditional with many looking as-new.
This car is equipped with the “B” package which includes cruise control, air conditioning, power steering, power windows, Viscous LSD, leather steering wheel, etc. Original top boot is included and looks like new. I don't believe it has ever been used.
Paint on the car is deep and shines nicely. All paint and panels are believed to be original with exception to the hood, which does not carry a VIN tag. The hood matches perfectly, is an OEM Mazda (aluminum) part, and carries all Mazda under hood stickers with exception to the VIN tag. The car does have a few small paint chips and minimal light swirling as can be expected over the course of 27 years. Most of these surface imperfections do not even show up in photos.
The chassis is immaculate, with most bolts and nuts in perfect original condition. Not even any surface corrosion! The body is as solid as can be with no rust or corrosion to be found anywhere. This has been a Colorado car its entire life and is bone dry!
Regular oil changes were done throughout this car’s 27 years, and according to the original owner, it never sat for any extended period without being driven.
I believe this car to still be wearing its original Dunlop tires! I think that is super cool, though I'd probably not put too many more miles on them. Also included with the car is the original window sticker, original Mazda keychain, All original keys (two master, one valet, one emergency), and original dealer workbook from 1991!
Please reach out with any questions regarding this exceptional example of an NA Mazda Miata.
I would love for this car to go to somebody that will truly appreciate it!
