1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata Manual Transmission RED w/ Black Top
Description
I am the 3rd owner of this little redhead. Runs and drives great.
This car has always been garaged, but it was driven 5 winters in New York. This car was driven 55,000 miles by the first owner, 11,000 by the second owner and 148,000 by myself. This has been my daily driver. It's the most fun to drive car I've ever owned, the most reliable car I've ever owned. It starts right up cold or hot. I don't have a crystal ball, but she seems to have a lot of life left. The gearbox still feels tight and engine feels strong.
Please understand this car looks good but is not pristine. Had some rust on the rocker covers and I cut the metal back to solid metal and filled with short strand fiberglass, then bondo. I tried to take close-ups of the repaired areas, but the camera (cell phone) may not pick up the flaws in my body work. I painted the repaired areas with a spray can. I am including photos of the extent of the rust and how I repaired it. My point is that I'm not hiding anything, I want to communicate clearly the condition of the car.
NOTE** The photo(s) of the rust are BEFORE photos; it has been repaired and painted. The other photos are how the car looks now.
