One of the Cleanest RX7's you'll ever have to chance to own

This Silverstone RX7 is one of the nicest and most tastefully upgraded RX7 FD’s we‘ve ever seen. Not only is it super clean, polished and seemingly flawless everywhere you look, but even the places we never look, just immaculate. Even under the car is spotless and looks polished. You would think it must have driven in some wet or foul weather, but there is no evidence. With the exception of upgrades, everything is original down to the Silverstone Metallic finish.

At Pettit Racing we have seen countless examples of RX7 FD’s, from mild to wild and everything in between. Since there are so many available upgrades and parts for the RX7, it’s not unusual to see these cars with to many and even unnecessary upgrades or “dumb-grades” this is when less is better!

Transforming this RX7 into the spectacular work of art it is today took 12 years and cost over $35,000. Most of the carefully chosen upgrade parts were Genuine Mazda from the 1999 and later JDM RX7's or top rated high quality upgrade parts and kits from the best RX7 builders and tuners worldwide. An activity / upgrade log was also kept detailing every step of the project, by date and mileage!

Ordered from ESH Upholstering back in February alcantara RZ seat covers stitched in red with a red Recaro logo along with bolster protectors. D&H Upholsterers installed the seatcovers onto the shell on 7/22/17. Reattached seat rails to the reupholstered shells and installed them in the car.

Replaced all four wheel bearings, locking nuts, rear locking nut washers and rear bearing retaining ring. Repacked front ball joints, control arm end and upper arm bushings with grease while spindle was off the suspension. All suspension parts were torqued to spec while pre-loaded. Project started on 1/1/17. Colin Stoddard removed and pressed in the new rear bearings. Installed new RZ backing plates on all four corners.
