Description

I bought this car in 2014 with 74,570 miles. It was garaged up until i bought it and since then has been in my driveway w/ no garage. Now has 88,909. so I put on about 3K/year for 5 years - mostly highway miles. Clear MA title.

This car is fun to drive and even with out a turbo, is pretty fast!

>Starts right up – no issues - rotary engine is in great condition

>New battery and oil and filter change in April 2019 at 88,624

> All electrical items are working with no issues (alarm, lights, high beams, retractable headlights, wipers, washer fluid jets, etc)

>(2) new sumitomo tires bought at 83,977 – (2) other still (bridgestone) have good tread on them.

>Includes convertible “boot” cover - may look black in pix, but really is dark grey.

> Includes and aftermarket car cover

>A/C blows cold

>Convert top in good condition

>Original window sticker and most repair invoices from 2003 - 2019 are included in paperwork.

Disclosure of known issues:

>Needs entire exhaust system including y/pipe and both mufflers. – there is NO system left on this car - So, it does NOT have an inspection sticker. I believe that this is the only reason why this hasn't passed inspection, so be prepared to put one on before you legally drive.

>Headrest speakers are not working

>CD and cassette are intermittent, but radio works ok.

> As in virtually all RX-7 verts of this age, the seats, especially the driver's are still usable but need some TLC.

>Front passenger quarter panel was badly repaired by body shop and then badly repainted twice.

>Hood has lots of scratches and there is a large ding on the driver' side quarter panel where it meets the hood.

>Car has a bunch of scratches all over - I tried my best to get pix, but its hard with a black car on a sunny day!

> Missing three BBS Mazda wheel caps ) – two are in the trunk.

> Had a small intermittent leak behind the driver's side seat, but I have been unable to find it's origin.

> Carpet behind drivers side seat has a few 'burn' marks.

So mechanically, this is a great care except for missing exhaust system. Cosmetically this car will need some work (if you care - doesn't not impede the performance at all!)

I have had many RX-7s over the years, but am by no means an expert ! Just a fan of this coveted 2nd gen models. I have done my best to describe the issues and condition. All pictures are part of the description.

Car is currently covered in a driveway in Newton, Ma. ready for sale.
