1991 Mazda RX-7 Convertible, Loaded, Nice 63182 Miles Blaze Red Convertible 1.3L
Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 20th year in the classic and muscle car business. The Mazda RX-7 was one of the more interesting and innovative sports cars produced during the latter half of the 20th century. Over a span of 25 years (1978-2002) and three generations, the nimble RX-7 was powered by evolving versions of Mazda's Wankel rotary engine. Developed by NSU of Germany in the 1950's, the Wankel engine was a revolutionary internal combustion engine that converted combustion pressure directly into rotating motion, rather than the abrupt directional changes of a piston engine. This was an exciting engineering breakthrough and many manufacturers signed license agreements to use the Wankel, but it was Mazda that made it work. Our Blaze Red 1991 Mazda RX-7 Convertible is a beneficiary of this unique powerplant and boasts an 8000 rpm redline to prove it! This remarkably well preserved example is blessed with a long list of standard and optional features including power rack and pinion steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, power door locks, power convertible top with integral Windblocker, air conditioning, cruise control, leather upholstery, headrest speakers, 5-speed manual transmission, fully independent front and rear suspension, AM/FM stereo, and factory BBS wheels. The unusual convertible top has a removable targa-type center section, was manufactured in-house at Mazda, and is of exceptional quality. This is a fun-to-drive, rattle-free convertible that offers excellent torsional rigidity, crisp handling, and all-weather comfort. Oh, and one of the best smiles-per-dollar ratios on the market!
