Description

This is a nice 1992 Sunburst Yellow Miata. 1519 were made, and only about 500 of them had the optional hard top. The hard top on this car has a headliner and rear window defroster. This car has a manual transmission and air conditioning. It's in overall good solid condition with decent tires and it runs very well. It still has the owner's manual, original spare tire, top boot, and jack. The lug wrench is still in the bag it came in. It is owned by non-smokers. This Miata has a some scattered dings and a small dent in the driver's side front fender, visible in the first photo, pretty consistent with a 24 year old car. Paint is original and all the VIN stickers on the body are the same. It could use a good polish job. If someone in Arkansas buys it, this car should be eligible for an AR antique license plate.Mileage is just under 121000 and is subject to change as the car is being driven. Miatas are known for going a quarter of a million miles.
Please note that the Autocheck report showing six owners is incorrect. The same person titled the car at 100,037 miles, 105,841 miles, and 105,897. The last two of those were attempts to get the mileage corrected from the error at 100,037 miles (showed 10,037 on transfer) so 3 of the alleged 6 owners were the same person. This car has had a total of 4 owners.
This Miata has a modern aftermarket radio/CD player and aftermarket exhaust system with stainless steel headers. The exhaust tip has removable baffles if you like a lot of noise.

The $9995 price is firm and does not include the hard top! If the buyer wants the hard top it will be an extra $1000, or $10,995 total. The original soft top is still in like new condition. The back window is in great shape except the top five inches or so are almost orange in color. I don't know what caused the discoloration because the back window has always been unzipped as it should be when the soft top is down, and it has been in a protective sleeve to prevent abrasion.

Other than the dings and small dents mentioned previously the only negatives I can think of are a tiny chip in the passenger side of the windshield, a very fine crack in the center of the dash, some typical seat bolster wear, and the little plastic cover which goes underneath the steering column is missing, but readily available and not expensive.

I have a set of 15" Millen Aero Wheels as seen in all the early advertising, and a 1 piece Millen fiberglass top boot (see photo of early Millen ad which shows the wheels and the boot) which are not included but I would consider selling them to the buyer of this car. My original intention was to make this car into a clone of the one used in the Millen advertising in the early '90s. In doing so it would have been repainted so I have not waxed the porous single stage paint because I would just have to remove the wax to do the paint prep work. I think the car could be made to look really good with a decent wax or glaze job.

I would encourage any interested parties to come and inspect the car and drive it before buying or have someone else look at it. While I would not hesitate to get in it and drive anywhere, it is a 24 year old car and there is no warranty whatsoever on it. It is very difficult to capture dings and small dents in a photograph.
