1985 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel

Legendary MB 300D Turbo Diesel. Third owner and vehicle has been very well maintained and serviced during ownership, since January 2012. A very nice example. Just ~21,000 miles added in the past 4+ years.
History: Purchased new at M-B of North Hollywood by original owners Pierre & Kathy Wong of Irvine, CA, who, in 2002, sold the car to Aldo Ponzini of Huntington Beach, CA after the Wongs decided to move out of the country. Stayed with the Ponzini's until 2012 when I purchased it. Champagne and Palomino in color, all original panels, trim, glass, and undercarriage. No known accidents. Everything works, including all gauges, odometer, clock, power windows, etc. It is a car that one should be able to drive anywhere. The 300D would make a great car for someone looking for a car that has been well taken care of but for which more care will be required, depending upon mileage and driving habits. A car like this is becoming more and more difficult to find -- fly in and drive home without thinking twice (in fact this is what I did in Jan. 2012 - picked it up in Southern California and drove it to Northern California up 101 -- what a drive it was!).
