NO RESERVE AUCTION. THE HIGH BIDDER BUYS IT.Up for sale is my 1968 Mercedes Unimog 404. It under went a full complete $30,000 restoration about 6 years ago. Clear California Title in hand. Currently registered in California. If you know what a Unimog is you will know they are the premier offroad machines.Portal axels for amazing ground clearance, 4wd and locking differentials on the fly along with a snorkel and 42 inch tires! This truck is a beast. unfortunately I just dont have the time to play with the truck like I want to. I am only the fourth owner and this ex-Swiss truck is awesome. Always garage kept, she is still in great shape. The complete interior leather was just re done last week with Real European glove soft leather along with new side windows. The rear top was purchased one year ago. The truck has no leaks and is very straight. It is showing some small wear since the restoration was done 6 years ago. I have all the original books and original manuels I would say it's a 8 out of a 10. It always starts right up and runs and drives like A restored Unimog 404 should. I cannot drive it anywhere without someone talking to me about it, or taking pictures! This truck is a lot of fun a huge head turner.

Some things to make it a 10 again.1, re finnish the wood bed and benches.2, 1 small rust spot by passenger lower door.3. A few small paint scratches and chipsOtherwise it is in excellent condition.
