1985 Mercedes SL 280 soft top convertible with a 5 speed manual trans ONE OWNER VEHICLE.. Very rare .Not many around. This is truly a barn find. It had been parked in a garage for about 8 years. It was started weekly. The original owner took very good care of this car. Kept up on servicing and care.The car was garaged all its life and never smoked in.It is all original (except for soft top). Soft top is recent and was replaced a couple of years ago. Paint has some flaws but looks great. Some scratches in the hood andabout 4small ding/very small dents which are pictured. Interior has no tears in the seats or cracks in the dash. There is only one minor issue where the stereo is mounted and there is a small piece about a 1/4" in size that is chipped and is in the pictures.We recently serviced the car doing an oil change, flushed the cooling system, new Battery, drained and flushed the gas tank, flushed the fuel system, new clutch slave cylinder and checked the vehicle out. The car also has been smoged and passed with flying colors. The A/C was converted to R134 and works but needs to be serviced and recharged. It puts out very cool air but not ice cold.I am being honest to the best of my knowledge and disclosing all flaws of the car that I am aware of.
