Description

Vehicle originally purchased at Aristocrat in 1985 and bought by my grandfather in 1990. It has babied it ever since. As you can see by the pictures, the vehicle is in great shape and also runs very well. He kept up with the service and kept the mileage fairly low (4k/year). We have a current CarFax on the vehicle that we can share if you are interested.
The good:
Vehicle body is in great shape with no rust, damage or dents.
Vehicle interior is in fair shape for the year- couple cracks on the dash and the leather could use some conditioning.
2nd owner vehicle
Comes with newer dark blue soft top
Comes with body matching grey hard top
Original 3.8L V8 Fuel Injected
Rear Wheel Drive
Original wheels
Automatic transmission
Exterior Color: Silver
Interior Color: Blue
Mileage: 129,124
VIN: WDBBA45C2FA023460
The Bad:
The vehicle has been in two notable accidents- one in 2009 and another in 2014. The last incident resulted in the insurance company declaring it a total (due to the damage/cost to repair ratio). My grandfather chose to keep the vehicle and repair it but the CarFax reads as a total loss vehicle. However, following the 2014 incident, majority of the body has been repaired or replaced and the vehicle has been restored to its original condition. I have the $8,200 bill from that repair if you'd like to see it. Further, the power windows and the A/C are not currently working but after looking at the fuse panel, it appears to me that the fuse has failed (pic included) and would be an easy repair. I have also seen a video online that shows the power window switches failing and is an easy fix as well.
In my opinion, this vehicle would really clean up well with a full detail and the couple small electrical fixes. We are selling it as is because we don't have the time to devote to this at the moment. We'd love to keep it in the family but do not have room to store it properly. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss the vehicle or set a time to come look at it. Vehicle is currently in Prairie Village, KS and I am flexible with meeting times during the day.
Thanks for looking.
