Description
The biggest, baddest, fastest sedan of its time!
One of the last well built models with an enlarged version of the M-100 - the biggest engine from Mercedes: dry sump lubrication, originally developed for racing cars. This Euro model has the high compression 286 hp engine good for 130+ mph and 0-60 in the 7 second range.- Major engine work done by PO in 2004; cost $10,000 at 89,772 miles.- Most recent invoice done by PO was in 2008; cost $525 at 102,502 miles (plugs, distributor cap, etc)- New
MB leatherupholstery installed in 2004 at cost of $5,390- Some other misc. invoices all adding up to $21,407 between 2003 and 2010- Mostly garaged since last recorded mileage of 102,502 in 2008 vs. current mileage of 107,198
- Tinted rear windows- Hood was removed and dipped/primed. Grill and all parts removed by PO are with the car.- Hood springs need to be correctlyinstalled for it to stay up (two man job)- Driver's side carpet has minor wear (see photo)- May need a new battery - I was able to charge it and start the car when it came home.- Needs a new set of tires (left rear leaks, others hold well)- No Jack, comes with partial toolkit- No Suspension blocks.
I can get them for you - cost is $1,000 (original MB front and rear blocks)- Headlight wipers were missing. I found a used set and will include them in the sale.- Some rust spots, including inner part of panel that holds rear license frame (see photos and videos)-All fluids should be replenished before road use to be safe. The car should be towed.- No DMV back fees - on planned non-opThe mats and sport steering visible in the trunk photo are NOT included!
Per PO, the car was owned by a Mercedes sales executive while in Germany, before it was imported to the States.
