100% original Mercedes Benz 300 W186 Adenauer 1953 - better than new!
Description
The Mercedes 300 is named "Adenauer". It was Purchased by Company "Hoffmann" in New York on February 13th in 1953. Since the 70' it was in second hand in Florida. There the Adenauer stood in a dry garage for about 25 years.
After the car came back to Germany, it was completely dismantled in spring 2015 in Germany. To get a feeling from the body it was freed from the paint. Only two small parts needed some welding. To protect the frame and other cassis parts for the future, they were powdercoated.
The car was divided into all parts, even all components itselfe were completely disassembled - engine, steering box, rear-wheel drive, gearbox, brake cylinder, starter ... Wear parts were renewed, including new piston... The interior was also completely dismantled and re-covered with new extra-colored real leather - the spring baskets of the seats were reproduced faithfully. New rubbers, carpets...
All chrome parts were all dismantled, chrome-plated and chrome-plated. A new safety glass front windscreen and a stainless steel exhaust was installed. The German Classic Data Company made a intensive Expertise and classified this dream car - better than new!
