NO RESERVE AUCTION
This 1929 Mercedes Benz Gazelle roadster has lots of power, handles very well, and is fun to drive. This replica is a fairly new build and that shows in the fit and finish. The body is straight, paint has a great shine to it, tires and wheels are in very good condition, the black upholstery, carpet and top goes perfectly with the white exterior. Power is from a dual-port 1600 cc VW engine. The mileage is unknown but looking at the car shows how new it is. The chrome and stainless steel has a nice shine to it. The convertible top hides nicely behind the back seat.
The rear suspension has a set of air shocks to adjust ride height and ride comfort. Brake lining is nearly new on all four corners. The floor pan is solid and the engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The exhaust system is from Abarth and has a mellow note while driving. The painted dash has a few chips. The transmission is a 4 speed manual. The previous owner passed away and his family donated it to a charity and I bought it at the charity auction.
