-ORIGINAL-This vehicle is completely in original condition with 61,000 miles on the odometer. Original paint, motor and drive train all in excellent working condition. It had over $3,000 in repairs completed in 2016, bringing her back to full driving functionality. All original work receipts will be provided.
-CURRENT-
Currently legally Licensed and Inspected by the state of New Hampshire for 2017. I have a free and clear Title to this vehicle, under my personal name.
-NOTE-The only issues with this car is that the original air conditioning unit (under the hood) was removed previous to my ownership. There is very slight damage to the front left fender as pictured as well as minor surface rust as also pictured. The car is very clean, with the engine and engine compartment along with the undercarriage also very clean condition, all pictured, all in beautiful condition... simply because this car has very low mileage, always garaged, and maintained properly.
-MECHANICAL-The glow plugs work as expected starting the car quickly. Very little smoke from the engine at first start up when cold, which is to be expected from all diesel engines. Once warmed up it runs smoothly without any excessive smoking noted. It drives and handles as you would expect from a Mercedes Benz; the car that had a lot to do with its reputation for quality, prestige, dependability, low cost of operation, and low maintenance with an exceptional ride and great handling.
-INTERIOR-Interior is clean and in excellent condition with comfortable Brown Leather Seats with one nicely done, noted repair to the drivers seat, as pictured. Has spare tire and tools in the trunk. All P185/R14 89S radial tires are have good tread on them. The chrome on this car is also in exceptional condition considering the car is nearly 45 years old.
-DOCUMENTATION-Comes complete with all original purchase documentation to include: Owners Manual, Maintenance Book, Original 220-220D Parts Catalog, along with other various documentation for this vehicle.
-COLLECTABLE-This Mercedes Benz 220D is very collectable and rare, as attested to by the number of 220D's that show up on e-bay, or spotted on the highway where their classic lines really stand out.
