Sitting on the W116 S-Class chasis, this powertrain is said to be "bulletproof" and last well into the 200,000 mile range. How is that for a powertrain....There is still plenty of life left in this gem.And the engines, they are said to last even longer than the powertrain. At 113,000, this car is only lived half its life.
Notable issues with this car are (as seen clearly in the pictures I have taken) is a scratch on the passenger side door and there are two small cracks on the dash. Other than that, the car is in good condition.The V8 runs string as intended. Transmisson does what it should. Shifts smooth and has great response.
