1973 Mercedes 350SL - rare 4 speed
Description
Great sunny day car that turns lots of heads.
Ready to put my baby up for sale. I've owned the car for 32 years. I think I may have put 6 or 7 thousand miles on it. It has approximately 60,000 original miles on the car. I had the speedometer changed from the Euro speedometer to a US speedometer by Park Place Motors. At that time the car had 91,307 Kilometers (56,735 miles) on it in Oct of 1989 and I have put about 2,900 miles on the car since the speedometer change.
The person I bought it from in 1985 or so, put the larger bumpers on it. I later added an 85 era 560SL wheels. This is a four speed manual transmission, which is very rare.
New Pirelli tires. New Fuel pump and fuel filter. New brake lines and brake calipers new battery.
The interior is the original style but new approximately 4 years ago.
The car has been in either my garage or hangar since I bought it with the exception of the 6 or 7,000 miles that I put on it.
I have the receipts for a lot of work that I had done on the car.
I have a roll around roof holder, roof removal pulley system and car cover that all go with the car.
If you want a great car that looks and drives great and will get attention everywhere you go.... this may just be your car.
It needs a new radio and the A/C could use some attention but if I repair those things the price will go up.
