Description

Excellent near-mint condition W123 Mercedes 300d turbo-diesel. Never in any accident, no replacement/repairs - everything is original (besides tires/oil) and all fully functional. 50,170 verified miles (at this posting, and I have a copy of the CarFax). Interior is perfect 10/10; exterior has no dents, paint is excellent, but because of a slight marring above the passengers front quarter panel (last picture), I give it a 9/10.
Highlights:
- original bill of sale and paperwork, MB service book, and maintenance receipts
- original first aid kit unopened
- original spare tire and kit never removed from original position in trunk of car
- air conditioning works great
- original radio and antennae functions
- no interior marks scratches or blemishes on MB-Tex interior or wood inlays; no buttons worn- original Mercedes Benz floor mats
Non-perfect items:
- paint aberration @ front fender, 1/4 dime sized light area on hood (small bird dropping that left a light etching?), some nearly transparent spotting around gas cap
- rear passenger wheel has 1-inch long curb rash (just along edge/lip of rim)
- sun visors have lost some of their form (material is somewhat saggy)
- one of the trunk light bulbs requires replacing
- split second delay when shifting from 3-4th gear (this dissipates/disappears when run more often)
Backstory: I've wanted a very clean W123 driver for some time and recently bought one of the bests cars I could find. Unfortunately, I feel guilty putting miles on it given the condition and am apprehensive to park and leave it anywhere for fear of dings and scratches. My preference is to pass to a collector and find something that serves my more utilitarian needs. However, if Im unable to break even on my investment in the car, I'm perfectly content on keeping and running as my daily driver ~ there's nothing about the car that prevents this use.

Post note: I had the car out for a 75 mile ride, and the transmission shifted strong and without the 3-4th shift slight hesitation. At 70+ mph, everything ran and sounded excellent.
