For sale is my beautiful 1985 Mercedes 380SL- White exterior on tan MB TEX interior with 57K miles.I have been using it as my daily driver the last 6 months and it is a stunning, very pleasurable and solid drive. I'm the 3rd owner, moving and I cannot take her with me.
Exterior: the paint is the original one, still in very good conditions. You can note in the pictures a few hardly visible scratches on the left fender and a rust spot on the right one. Nothing else to be noted for the exterior, the hardtop is in great shape. The soft top in dark brown needs to be replaced, see pictures.
Interiors: This is the 1985 model, last year of 380 SL and it features the improved seats and visors of the 560 SL. Only two minor cracks in the dashboard, everything else is in very good shape, no tears in the seats. A/C working well, antenna, clock and temperature gauge work, aftermarket stereo and bluetooth installed. Trunk in like new condition.
Mechanics: the engine runs very strong and never hesitates, a smooth powerful driver.The handling is very good and reliable, fantastic cruiser. No problem to be noted. Tires are at a good 80%
Books and original maintenance receipts are included. Clean Ttle and Carfax showing mileage accurancy and smog tests regularly passed. Inspections are welcome and suggested, the car is in DT Los Angeles. Sold as is. CA Sales tax will be added to CA buyers.
