Description

This Mercedes is a barn/shed find. The title and registration are free and clear. It is currently tagged. It is not a $20,000-$30,000 car at this point. It will need somerestoration. It is for sale in Duluth,GA 30096 for $5500 obo.If you want to buy it now just let me know and I will set up the buy it now feature for you.If no one buys it before the auction ends this 1973 Mercedes Benz 280SE will be sold to the highest bidder at the end of this auction. What will the market pay???Please only bid what you can afford to pay. This was the 1973 equivalent to today's Mercedes Benz S class. Fuel injected V8 car with the sunroof. The sunroof will open and close. This Mercedes has a two tone paint job. This is a running and driving 1973 Mercedes Benz 280SE. The original Protecto plate is with the car. I have the Mercedes Benz hood ornament. Service manuals come with this car. Extra interior wood grain comes with this Mercedes Benz. This is a highly sought after classic Mercedes Benz with the 4.5 V8 engine, sunroof, two tone paint, automatic, air conditioning, and power options. The seats are in good condition. The car comes with two sets of rims and tires. The flat ones were on it in the barn/shed. The tires on it now are practically brand new. It has a new Bosch battery, new coil, new distributor, new fuel filter, new gas tank plug, and it runs without any smoking. It will need a new cold start switch. It runs good after it warms up. I recommend towing it home as the floor needs repair on the passenger side. Please see the photos of the radiator support. It is in great shape. This car has rust in the passenger side floor pans( front and rear as the passenger side tires were flat and the barn/shed exposed the passenger side of the car to the elements. The water just rested in passenger side floor. MBCC sells the correct full length floor pan for $380 and they are originalMercedes Benz floors. If you are a business you can get 20% off of that price. The cross member is still there and intact), bottom of the spare tire area, the rocker on the passenger side front, and the driver side front rocker has some small holes. The driver side floor, under the back seat, and the trunklooks really good to me. Please see the photos. The passenger side rear door is not opening.
