1984 Mercedes Benz 500SEL "HEAD TURNER"

One original owner

This car was inherited to me from my uncle. He was the original owner who bought this car from California Mercedes dealership brand new. He owned 4 gas stations in Los Angeles and pretty wealthy with four car garage in his house. He always used high octane gasoline every time. The reason why the mileage is low is because he did not use this car for daily commute rather he used it occasionally like go to church on Sundays or family gatherings. He is now old and does not want to drive big and expensive car anymore. This car was left in his garage for about 2 years until I decided to take over. So I pump out the old gasoline and completely flush out and cleaned the gas tank, fuel injector and distributors. After the other described maintenances on Ebay, now the car drives so smooth like butter.

100% California Vehicle

As you may aware that 100% original California vehicle is usually well preserved because of perfect weather condition for cars especially in Southern California vehicles. Our area, Los Angeles, does not have much of rain and absolutely no snow which means no salt damages. But the sun is too strong and keeping the car under the shade is crucial factor to maintain the condition. Because the car was kept 100% here in Southern California and he always parked in his garage, this car is rust free and no corrosion. You will be amazed when you see the car.

Maintained according to the owner’s manual

He maintained the car stick to the owner’s manual maintenance schedule. I do not have all the receipts because he did not keep the records. However, I know he did.

No repair needed

He took care of the car very well and after I took over, I changed and fixed some in all in factory specification. Now everything works even little details like clock, power antenna, moving mechanism for rear seat, heaters for all front and rear seats, all power windows, etc. Even the sunroof mechanism is perfectly working with absolutely no leaks.

Mirror like Chromes

After I took the car home, I was amazed to see the mirror like chromes under the dust. All the door trims and bumper chromes are like mirror!!! No corrosions, no oxidations.

Dents, cracks, paint

Due to the age of car, the car has few minor dents. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been witnessed somebody who pulled up and open the door carelessly. The car has one or two dings and minor fine swirl marks which is inevitable but nothing major. However the paint is in excellent condition without any cracks.

Clean title

He never had any accident. The title is clean.

Reason for selling

I am moving to different country due to work. I am selling everything including my house and other two vehicles. I wish I can take it with me but bit too much burdensome to take the cars.
