Hi CL,
I have a w124 1994 E500 in British Racing Green with 131k original miles, that I originally bought as a restoration project. All of the mechanical on the car was just replaced or rebuild. Including things like wiring harness, engine and transmission mounts, timing was readjusted to factory specs and much much more. It runs and drives like a new car. All the work was performed in 3 very reputable bay area shops: Mercedes of San Francisco, Erotech and Stance Lab. For the total amount of over $15K (I have receipts to prove it) major parts including:
-Steering gearbox
-Steering damper
-Tie rod assembly all
-Gasket sealer reinzosil
-Valve cover gasket
-AT filter
-AT pan gasket
-Auto trans fluid
-Engine harness
-Ignition wire set
-Distributor cap x2
-Distributor rotor
-Wire harness to starter
-Radiator plastic tank
-Battery
-Water pump
-Thermostat kit
-Hood pad
-Coolant tank reservoir
-Rear main seal
-Transmission mounts
-Engine mounts
-Crankshaft sensor
-EGR valve
-Distributor cap bracket
And of course all the houses, fluids, screws,nuts, rubbers, cabin air filter, spark plugs, wiper blades and all the other small little things. Plus the labor to replace all of these parts.
The Not So GOOD:
-The clear coat is pealing on the trunk and rear left quarter panel
-Scuff marks on the Bumpers (just surface and no cracks)
-Headliner is coming off
The most difficult stuff on this car was done and took 3 very reputable shops a year to complete. I am open to offers or trades.
I will also consider trades for: E34 M5, E39 M5, E29 M5, Suburban 2007+, Navigator L 2007+, Escalade ESV 2007+, Excursion diesel 7.3 only, Harley or victory bagger only in black or matte black colors, on all these trades I can add or you can add cash and sport bikes plus lots of cash on your end. Everything should have low miles. preferred colors are black and white.
