1989 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6 LOW MILEAGE 90,000
Description
I'm selling my w201 1989 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6 because I'm moving. The car has been in the family since 1993 and has only 90,000 miles on the clock. All records from 1993 have been maintained. The car contains no rust and runs and drives great. It has always been maintained by Mercedes-Benz certified mechanics. On the exterior, it shows some signs of age (a couple dents and scratches and the material on the driver door has pulled and ripped).
To my knowledge, the only mechanical issue is that the air conditioning leaks - I had it recharged last year and the refrigerant leaked out within a month. Just had injectors replaced, along with the drive belt and drive belt tensioner, a $1200 job. In addition, components of the front suspension have been replaced (struts, strut mounts, springs, etc.) and the distributor cap and rotor have been replaced within the last 2 months.
Everything else works! The rear speakers have been replaced and the radio head unit was replaced (I still have the original Becker as well) with a Bluetooth connected head unit (picture of center console shows the microphone in the ash tray).
This is a great first car as it's easy to maintain and cheap to operate (low insurance rates and no emissions testing requirement in IL due to age).
Local pickup only.
