This car was recently purchased from the Pacific Northwest from an older gentleman's family who cherished this car as his favorite in his collection. This car has been enjoyed a careful 105,067 miles. The car still shows, to our expertise, 100% original paint, top, and interior. It has just had an exquisite detail, service, and has been looked over by our local 560 SL specialist.The bodywork and paint on this car is quite outstanding for a factory finished car. Mercedes Benz used quality paint materials and it shows...There are just a few spots thin spots we have noticed upon close inspection, with a few tiny touch-up stone ships. The panels all open and shut beautifully with excellent chrome/rubber all the way around. The car still retains it's original windshield in great shape.The car's interior is very well-preserved with excellent seats just showing some typical minor discoloring around the driver's side seat bolster leather. The dashboard top is perfectly crack-free. The wood is in great condition with no hairline cracks. New floormats have been fitted. The original softtop is excellent with no flaws, along with a perfect hardtop. The interior trim overall is quite superb and 100% original.The trunk reveals a completely new, unused factory spare tire along with an undisturbed tool kit, still in the factory wrapper, along with the original jack. A new battery has been fitted. Tires are in good condition, being slightly oversize 225x15 quality Michelins fitted on slightly wider premium chrome rims.The car starts easily, runs and drives well with no mechanical faults or issues. Properly maintained, these durable SL's can sail past the 100,000 mile and even 200,000 mile mark with ease on their factory-built drivetrains.Overall, an elegant Grand Touring Sports Convertible in a superb color color combination. This highly original specimen has been well taken care of since new, being garaged for most all of it's life, and is great value going forward.
