1985 Mercedes 300td wagon ALL ORIGINAL!! Low miles only 158k Miles this car is good to go a million miles. This wagon runs and drives down the road amazing. It has original everything right down to tool kit that is in canvas wrap bag that came in and is still in its plastic baggy the tool kit came in, first aid kit and owners manuals along with records that have been kept in glove box over years since the 1980's!! Even has the cross rails on roof rack that people are selling for over $500. on eBay.
I assume if you are looking at this car you understand the drivetrain is built to last. Highly sought after wagons that are increasing in value every year and becoming harder to find. The time has come to let someone else enjoy this wagon. You will not be disappointed.
Car is originally from Florida and was brought to New England a few years back. The paint shines great, body is straight as an arrow, no dings or dents to speak of. The paint is 33 years old and has normal nicks here and there nothing major or that stand out. For a 33 year old car I’d say it’s in excellent condition, I just don't want to leave anything out and describe it best I can. I had it New Hampshire State inspected last month. The state of New Hampshire has tough state inspection laws, as tough as any other state if not the toughest. This car is mechanically perfect. I did have all filters changed, new tires put on and it was completely gone through front to back and I told the mechanic he could do anything that needed to be done now or in future he saw fit. I would get in my wagon drive it anywhere.
The undercarriage is in amazing condition showing no signs of aging or rust and is solid as rock. I have included pictures of the under side along with pictures from under hood.
The body is straight as an arrow no accident history. Paint shines great and it certainly doesn’t look it’s age.
The interior is as near flawless as I have ever seen. The seats have NO cracks or tears and are in amazing condition. The rugs have literally had rugs on top of rugs. Meaning the floor mats and rugs in this car are in excellent condition. The wood trim is in very nice shape, power windows all work, power mirror works, dash is in excellent condition, original radio and everything works with exception of power antenna.
Pros:All original car that’s nicer than anyone I’ve seen in person anywhere. Car starts easy, runs down road excellent and is a lot of fun to drive.
Cons:Power antenna needs to be fixed, if it bothers you it never did me. RPM gauge sometimes doesn’t work. It’s only gauge in cluster I’ve ever seen not work.
