Description

Hi, I am selling a 1983 Mercedes 280GE 2 door. This is a European car, meaning the steering wheel is on the passenger side in the United States. This vehicle is very sought after by collectors. The 2 door is a rare find. I have had many offers when it was not for sale. I’m selling it now because I want to move on in a different direction. Most of the Wagon is original. Basically anything that matters is original. The only thing I see not original is the radio, tire, paint job. The interior is in outstanding condition. The exterior has very minor flaws but only noticeable when scrutinized. The paint job is new. Engine runs great. I had it tuned up last week, and wanted to make sure it was running well to sell. The undercarriage looks good. No rust. When I say no rust, I mean in the sense overall, but if you examine up close you will find something like the size of a tip of a pen, to the size of a dime, but honestly I would say its not an issue in any way. It’s more in like a crease or obscure area, not like in the middle of a door or hood. Like I mentioned before, for a 1983 it’s in great shape. I’m trying to be accurate as possible. If I was to be specific on the condition, it could use a little love in the sense of removing old stickers from Back window, just a days work of tweaking. You don’t even have to be handy to clean it up a bit more to your liking. This G-Wagon is more for appreciation, cruising the town, or beach. I wouldn’t use it for everyday commuting. The Wagon could manage every day driving but where this is more on the rare side, I personally wouldn’t drive it everyday. I’m willing to ship it to anywhere in the world. But please consider shipping cost. Ok feel free to ask any questions, and thanks for reading. The vin # is a european vin # 46023227030466.
