THE ODOMETER READING IS 50,504 KILOMETERS AND CONSISTENT WITH THE MILEAGE RECORDED IN THE TITLE. HOWEVER, WE CAN NOT CERTIFY IT. THIS EUROPEAN SPEC CAR HAS THE EUROPEAN HEADLIGHTS, TAILLIGHTS, SLEEK BUMPERS, HIGHER REAR AXLE RATIO ( MAKING HIGHWAY CRUISING MORE PLEASANT, 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION, METRIC GAUGES, ETC. THE CAR...HAS STRAIGHT BODY PANELS AND GREAT SHUT LINES. THE DOORS, HOOD, AND TRUNK LID OPEN AND CLOSE AS A MERCEDES SHOULD. THIS VEHICLE WAS PAINTED THE ORIGINAL PAPYRUS WHITE (CODE 717) ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO. THE PAINT IS A HIGH LEVEL DRIVER QUALITY WITH A GLOSSY FINISH AND A FEW MINOR BLEMISHES. THE BUMPERS, GRILL, AND MISC. TRIM ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE ORIGINAL FLOOR PANS, ROCKER PANELS, AND TRUNK PAN ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE TRUNK PAN MOST HAVE HAD SOME PITTING IN ONE CORNER AND REPAIRED IN THE PAST (SEE PHOTO). THE ORIGINAL BLUE LEATHER SEAT COVERS AND DOOR PANELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH MINOR WEAR AND NO TEARS. THE ORIGINAL CARPETS ARE VERY NICE. THE DASH PAD AND ALL THE WOOD TRIM APPEAR TO BE RE-FINISHED SOMETIMES IN THE PAST AND LOOK GREAT. THE CAR HAS A NEW NAVY BLUE CANVAS TOP.THE ENGINE RUNS EXCELLENT, HAS GREAT OIL PRESSURE, RUNS COOL, DOES NOT SMOKE, AND PERFORMS WELL. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GREAT IN ALL GEARS AND THE CLUTCH IS VERY STRONG. THE BRAKES AND SUSPENSION PERFORM WELL. WE HAVE OWNED MORE THAN A DOZEN MERCEDES BENZ 113 BODY. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST DRIVING ONE OF THEM ALL. I JUST DROVE THIS CAR 25 KILOMETERS FROM OUR DEALERSHIP TO MY HOUSE TO TAKE THE PHOTOS. THE CAR PERFORMED EXCELLENT EVEN IN THE ATLANTA'S INSANE TRAFFIC. WE HAVE A CLEAR GEORGIA TITLE IN HAND. PLEASE READ THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION BELOW AND VIEW THE 90 HIGH QUALITY IMAGES BEFORE BIDDING. WE DID NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A LIFT. THEREFORE, NO UNDER-CARRIAGE PHOTOS EXCEPT THE ONES THAT WERE TAKEN ON THE GROUND. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ABOUT THEM. HERE IS THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION: EXTERIOR: THE BODY PANELS ARE VERY STRAIGHT AND HAVE GREAT SHUT LINES. WE HAVE NOT VISUALLY DETECTED ANY BODY FILLERS. WE ONLY NOTICED COUPLE OF BUBBLES ON THE REAR OF THE CAR NEXT TO THE TRUNK LID. THE CAR WAS PAINTED ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO. THE PAINT IS VERY GLOSSY WITH A DEEP FINISH WITH SOME VERY MINOR BLEMISHES. WE CALL IT A HIGH LEVEL DRIVER QUALITY. THE BUMPERS, MIRRORS, DOOR HANDLES, AND MISC. TRIM ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ALL GLASS INCLUDING THE WINDSHIELD, SIDE WINDOWS, AND THE HARDTOP GLASS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE LIGHT LENSES ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE DOOR JAMBS, DOOR HINGE AREAS, TRUNK JAMB, AND HOOD COWL AREA WERE PAINTED AND LOOK GREAT. MOST PEOPLE ARE GOING TO ASK: IF THE FENDER PINCH WELDS AND THE LITTLE TICK MARKS NEXT TO THE HEADLIGHT RIMS STILL EXIST. THE ANSWER IS YES. HOWEVER, THE UNINFORMED BODY MAN PREVIOUSLY PAINTED THE CAR HAS SLEEKED THEM UP. YOU CAN RUN YOUR FINGERS BETWEEN THE INNER FENDERS AND BACK LIP OF THE FENDERS AND FEEL EVERYONE OF THE PINCH WELDS. ALSO, IF YOU TAKE THE HEADLIGHT BUCKETS OUT, YOU CAN FEEL THE SMALL TICK MARKS. THE ORIGINAL FLOOR PANS ( INCLUDING THE AREA OF THE PEDAL BOX) ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH THE ORIGINAL FACTORY COATING. THE ROCKER PANELS ARE SOLID. WHEN WE GOT THE CAR, THEY WERE PAINTED A PERFECT WHITE COLOR TO MATCH THE CAR (NOT WRINKLE FINISH OR GRAVEL GUARD) MEANING NO HOLES OR PATCHES TO BE HIDDEN. WE HAD OUR SHOP PAINT THE ROCKERS SATIN BLACK AS THE FACTORY. INTERIOR: THE ORIGINAL LEATHER SEAT COVERS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, GLOVE SOFT WITH MINOR WEAR AND NO TEARS. THE DOOR PANELS WITH ARM REST ( EUROPEAN SPEC) ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE ORIGINAL CARPETS ARE VERY NICE AND PROTECTED BY A SET OF MERCEDES FLOOR MATS. THE DASH PAD AND WOOD TRIM APPEAR TO BE RE-FINISHED IN THE PAST AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE INSTRUMENT BEZEL AND STEERING WHEEL ARE IN VERY NICE CONDITION. THE HARDTOP HEADLINER APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL AND VERY NICE CONDITION. THE HARDTOP REAR WINDOW WOOD TRIM APPEARED TO BE REFINISHED IN THE PAST. ALL WEATHERSTRIPPING ARE SOFT. MECHANICAL; THE ENGINE RUNS VERY SMOOTH, HAS GREAT OIL PRESSURE, RUNS VERY COOL, DOES NOT SMOKE, AND PERFORMS WELL. THERE ARE A FEW DROPS OF OIL ON THE GROUND (TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE) WHEN PARKED OVERNIGHT. THE NEW OWNER NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE AND REPAIR THE LEAK. AFTER ALL, THE CAR IS 49 YEARS OLD. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GREAT IN ALL GEARS AND THE CLUTCH IS STRONG. THE SHIFT BUSHING WERE RECENTLY REPLACED. THE BRAKES AND SUSPENSION FUNCTION PROPERLY. THE SPEEDOMETER WORKS BUT IT MAKES A SMALL SOUND AND THE DIAL SURGES MEANING A SIGN OF WORN CABLE. THE TACHOMETER WORKS ONLY AFTER THE CAR IS DRIVEN ABOUT COUPLE OF KILOMETERS. THE CAR RIDES VERY SMOOTH ON A SET OF NEARLY NEW RADIAL TIRES. THE EXHAUST SYSTEM AND TAILPIPES ARE SOLID AND IN GOOD CONDITION. ELECTRICAL: THE LIGHTS, TURN SIGNALS, HORN, AND GAUGES WORK PROPERLY (EXCEPT THE FUEL GAUGE). THE RIGHT HEADLIGHT IS A LITTLE DIMMER THAN THE LEFT ONE. PERHAPS IT HAS A BAD GROUND CONNECTION. THE CAR HAS A NEWER AFTERMARKET RADIO THAT WORKS. WE DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL ONE. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS CLEAN BUT NOT DETAILED. IT STILL REATINS THE ORIGINAL FIREWALL INSULATION. TRUNK: THE TRUNK IS VERY NICE AND CLEAN. IT APPEARS THAT THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TRUNK HAS HAD SOME REPAIRS DONE AND LOOK PITTED ( SEE PHOTO). THE BACK OF THE TRUNK LID AND JAMBS LOOK GREAT. THE WEATHERSTRIPPING LOOKS LIKE NEW. THE ORIGINAL RUBBER TRUNK MAT WAS SO BRITTLE AND CRACKED. A NEW CORRECT RUBBER MAT WAS INSTALLED. THE TRUNK HOUSES THE SPARE TIRE, JACK AND THE LUG WRENCH. NO TOOLS.
