For sale is my gorgeous 1986 Mercedes 560SL Roadster in Arctic White over Blue Leather. Only 68k miles traveled over the last 32 years. Cherished and treated with the utmost respect by only 3 owners, I believe you will be hard pressed to find another one like mine out there. This car was only driven on sunny days throughout it's life and was garage kept.
This is the most reliable classic I've ever had, and I've had a variety of these cars such as a 380SL, 450SL and a '93 SL600. My favorite is this 560 and I'm very sad to see her go. I am purchasing an expensive boat shortly and my wife is about to divorce me unless I sell some of the other toys.
This car is almost entirely original, save for a hood refinish due to rock chips. It starts right up smooth as butter and doesn't make any funky noises or smoke. Idle is absolutely perfect and you can barely feel the car running. That is how Mercedes intended these cars to run. Driving down the road, the 4-speed auto smoothly shifts into all gears. All adjustments are spot-on. The car rides so smooth it's hard to even feel the road. Put the pedal all the way down, and the beautiful deep roar of the 5.6L V8 comes to life for all nearby to hear as you blow past them in style.
Everything on this car works as it should including all electronics. No warning lights on the dashboard. This car needs nothing except a loving new owner.
