1979 Mercedes-Benz with solid body and drive train

It is with a heavy heart that I am listing my 1979 Mercedes-Benz 300sd that I have driven since I was 17. I am now 32 and I have no more space in my life for extra projects so this Merc must go. I am currently in the middle of some top end work on the motor. After noticing excessive wear while doing a valve adjustment I have decided It needs a new cam and a set of rockers. This is one of the strongest pulling mecedes diesel motors I have ever run. This was a California car so the interior is cracked and worn on the dash and seats but the body is almost free of rust and is very solid. It also has no sunroof so there is no water damage as is normally the case with these old 300's. This would be a great candidate for a full restore or just finish the cam and rocker job and drive it as a reliable and fuel efficient beater. Gets over 30mpg.
