Description 1968 Mercedes-Benz 250 SE Coupe

This 1968 Mercedes 250 SE Coupe has been lovingly owned by one family since 1981. It has always been properly maintained with all service receipts available from the past 37 years. Always garaged. In 2015, this Benz was restored as needed with new, correct Mercedes Dark Green paint, and new, correct Mercedes leather front uphostery. Excellent original chrome and trim.
Upon the death of the owner it was passed to his son. He grew up with the car and has many fond memories, but now finds himself traveling the world and without garage space. He wants to pass it on to a new owner who will appreciate it as much as his family has over the years.
The bulletproof Mercedes OHV straight 6 engine runs beautifully (please see video) with plenty of power, no smoke or issues. 152 cubic inches, rated at 170 horsepower. Mated to the original Mercedes 4-speed automatic transmission. Rated at 0-60 mph in 11.9 seconds. Shifts well. Brakes stop well. Radial tires. All gauges work. 84,700 miles showing on the odometer and believed to be correct.
This car was a luxury leader when produced 50 years ago, and is still one today. Euro-style headlights. Accessory driving lights. Adjustable leather seats, sliding sun roof, real wood interior trim accents (still in excellent condition - see photos), upgraded Alpine stereo. Working heater and defroster. The perfect car for a night on the town or a long road trip. Wherever you go, you'll get there in classic Mercedes style.
