1969 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL
Description
This Mercedes-Benz’s exterior is in good condition. The interior is brown and has leather seats and there is wooden panelling on the interior. It has a manual transmission and has automatic windows, manual locks, radio/cassette player, a sunroof, ashtrays, an analogue clock, air conditioning and seats 3 in the back. The antenna has been snapped in half and will need replacement.
There is a fuel leak in this car while it is running. This car also has an auto-raising system that may have a problem with the front hydraulics so a check will need to be done. There is no battery included in the car and the area where the battery rests will need to be cleaned (see images). This car has been sitting for the past few years but does start. This car has a clear title and is currently registered as a PNO (non-operational).
The vehicle was donated to the Petersen Automotive Museum several years ago and is now surplus to our requirements. We have tried to state the condition of the car as honestly as possible to alert potential buyers of any known problems in the car. There is no warranty and no guarantee on the condition of this vehicle. It is being sold as is. Buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping this vehicle from Los Angeles, where it is located.
