1990 300SL - 113k 2 owner in same family and in amazing condition.
My father bought this car in 1990 up in San Francisco. Car has been meticulously maintained over the last 28 years and I brought it here to LA a few months ago because it was just sitting in Vegas (where they live now) and not being driven. The intention was to give it to my 17year old but told him if he got a ticket in it, I would sell it. Well guess what he did within weeks and now it has to go.
Top is basically brand new as well as the hardware, back window is perfect and the hardtop and convertible for as they should (sometimes you have to pull down on the front part by the windshield to get it to lock). All vacuums and compressors work as well as the a/c and the radio (sometimes). Could use new speakers.
Car has no leaks, just had it up on the rack and just had all of the fluids inspected and changed.
When I brought it to LA I found out that the catalytic converter he replaced was a non-50 state part. All that has been replaced, car is smogged and registered until 11/2019.
paint is original and in amazing condition, no accidents with very few minor nicks and blemishes There is one small chip on the back bumper that could possibly use a respray. Tires are near new and there are no rips or tears.
I would keep it for myself as a weekend car but I have a brand new MB and will need to get the kid something more sensible.
I have tried to explain the car is as much detail as possible. I live in Canyon Country, and the car is available for inspection.
