West Coast 1973 Mercedes 450 SL straight and solid

This 1973 Mercedes is a estate sale from an elderly German gentleman and has not been driven much over the last few years, it has a new battery fresh gas and now runs and drives grea, the engine pulls very strong and the transmission shift like it should. It is pretty much rust free and it appears to have never suffered any accident damage, the structure of this car is good. The car was originally a pumpkin red and has been repainted bright red, the repaint is older and is not in great shape it could benefit from a paint job though is quite useable as is. . The engine runs great and the transmission shifts as it should. Overall the car drives very well. Tires are deep and the brakes work fine.The interior is all original and the seats have no rips or tears and the original MB text has held up very well. The carpets need replacin, the dash is in good shape but there are some cracks . The soft top is original but still in ok shape with no rips or tears. This is a useable car with great potential for improvement and these early small bumper cars at a serious premium. It is being sold needing improvement but useable
